Elérkeztünk 2023 első ünnepéhez, ami nem más, mint a Tu Bishvat, azaz a fák új éve. 
Ez a nap jelzi azt az évszakot, amikor Izrael földjén a legkorábban virágzó fái kibújnak téli álmukból, és új ciklusba kezdenek. 
A hagyomány szerint ilyenkor fán termő és aszalt gyümölcsöket kell fogyasztani, illetve a gyerekek facsemetéket ültetnek.
