Director: Jonathan Moshe Tzur. 86 minutes, in English and Hebrew, with Hungarian subtitles.
The documentary records travels, meetings and everyday life of the era following the publication of his family saga titled “A tale of love and darkness”. Besides the interviews with politicians, friends, fellow writers and the world of author-reader meetings we can discover the film adaptation of the most important details of the writer’s monumental family saga embracing more decades: moving moments of the foundation of the State, struggling life of new immigrants and monochrome images of the streets in Israeli cities of that period.
