Natan Sharansky is a human rights activist and advocate of all democratic values and the freedom that is the prerogative of every human being. After spending close to a decade in Soviet imprisonment Sharansky won back his freedom and in 1986 and got to settle down in Israel. After moving to Israel Sharansky acted as minister in 4 different governments, was vice to the prime minister, wrote three bestsellers and was awarded the Medal of Congress and the Presidential Medal of Freedom. Until this very day he is one of the most prominent leaders of human rights and he truly believes that developing in the field of freedom is a primary condition for peace and security around the globe.
Active members of the Post-Taglit program will participate on this closed and special meeting with Natan Sharansky.
